Have seen you a couple of times at The National Folk Festival in Canberra at Easter. Just knocked out by your music and crowd pleasing engagement!!! Dont want to sound too gushy!!!Have just been watching the Gaiter Bluegrass Homecoming DVD and thought of you lot. I need to add your later discs to my collection. Pity the ABC is so narrow and unimaginative in its tv programming. Would love to see you there on TV.

Hi Maria! I left WASO and French horn playing behind in 2006. I now teach secondary Music to all year levels at Hennessy Catholic College in Young NSW. I enjoy it. Since seeing you guys at Fairbridge way back my love for bluegrass has grown. I am keen to get a band together here but I still do not know too many people. You maybe remember that I am painfully shy! I have the use of a double bass so I guess that will be my instrument in any band I form/join. Cheers.

Where has the time gone since Harrietville 2009?
We enjoyed your concerts at Harrietville but like Alan below this message, we thought your performances weren't nearly enough to satisfy us! Love the Radio Show; first time we'd heard and seen it. Still think BGP is the best. All the best for 2010.

When can we expect you in the U.K.?
Folk/Appallation/Close harmony (& bush-bands), all have their roots in English/Scottish/Irish & French folk music. It would be great to see what you have done with it. Perhaps you would bring a welcome breath of fresh air to the Cambridge Folk Fest, or even Glastonbury!

Hi Guys

Just home from a great Harrietville weekend (despite the welcome rain) where we never missed an act in the Marquee. Was a little dissapointed (not your doing) that BGP did not feature more but understand that as it was a convention all bands need to be catered for.

While we we are non musicians we just love the Nov gig and have introduced five other couples to the joys of Bluegrass, needless to say but like ourselves they really enjoy BGP.

A little dissapointed that Guy couldn't make it but he had better watch out for his place. What happened to Donal whose great Fiddle playing was also missed.

Loved the harmony workshop which to us is a feature of the festival.

We have rebooked our accomodation for 2010 and look forward to enjoying the wonders of Bluegrass at that time.

PS Please don't forget the Gospel CD which I have no doubt will be a big seller.

Best regards Alan

Hey there, hope you're doing well. I love your music and looking forward to seeing you guys when you're in Lexington, Kentucky (or somewhere close) again.

I was just thinking that you should look into getting on the WOODSONGS "Old-Time Radio Hour" show here in Lexingon that airs around the world It's huge! Here is the website for them, www.woodsongs.com

Check it out and maybe you could coincide an appearance with your next trip to Kentucky...would be great publicity.

Say hello to Ross and Debby for me...and look forward to seeing you again...take care!

It was so nice meeting you folks at Bean Blossom. I want to tell you how very proud Bill Monroe would be concerning how you present bluegrass music. He insisted that his band members dress neatly and professionally and that they respect the music and the audience. You are carrying on his tradition and you play great music. Your appearance at the festival (my 43rd year in a row) was a highlight for me and I just wanted to congratulate you for a job well done.

We are looking forward to this years (2009) Mount Beauty Music Festival in particular BGP who we think are "simply the best".

Harrietville in November for the Bluegrass experience and Mount Beauty in April for the variety of the Music Festival, who could possibly want for two better weekends.

Hi Bluegrass Parkway. Great site, lots of interesting information. I saw you first two years ago at Fairbridge and sadly missed you in 2008, although Maria showed her face around, but didn't perform. I am definitely excited and looking very much forward to this year's Festival at Pinjarra in April and won't miss a single BGP performance- promise. See youse there... :)

Erin and I caught your act on the hottest day at Woodford. Thanks for the great show. We purchased "Girl from the South" on the strength of that performance and we know nearly all the words already! Cheers

Hi team,

Have just started the recovery phase from an amazing experience called "Woodford".

Some early mornings and a lot of late nights fueled with music, dance, culture, foods and beveriges from around the globe made for a truelly memorable experience. I am definately heading back next year !

I was able to catch your show on the last day and you will recall it was a day of sweltering heat. Extremely impressed with your presentation and professionalism and above all a great style of Blue Grass which I had not heard for some time.

The single mike is an absolute hit and more so the natural acoustic instruments and brilliant harmonies! Loved the clogging as well.

Will certainly be looking for you again when in "our neck of the woods" and of course back at Woodford this year.

Keep up the great work.

Regards Gary :)

My family are all very excited that BGP are returning to Mount Beauty where we have caught your act previously as well as in Cygnet - you have opened up our eyes to the beauty of bluegrass. Heard a tune recently that Johnny Cash sung and thought of BGP straight away - 'Daddy sang bass' (C.Perkins). Love your website and looking fwd to seeing you all in April.
